Immerse yourself in a truly French art-de-vivre with an unique olfactory journey to the Fragonard Perfume Museum in Paris, located right next door to the Opera Garnier. The perfect opportunity to discover an old private mansion sheltering a unique collection of ancient fragrance bottles. Immersed in a Second Empire atmosphere, visitors wander through a timeless space and traverse three thousand years of history.
Know-how of Grasse, vanished raw materials, ancient fragrant objects, the museum is a perfumer’s laboratory.The second part of the museum exhibits ancient artistic objects and exploits of goldsmithery. Unusual, rare and precious bottles from the Pharaohs to Fabergé are unique witnesses of social and cultural habits.
After the visit of 20 minutes, we invite you to unveil the history, the origin, the culture of this very special flower and the way it is used in perfumery. A moment of sensory and olfactory memory development with the explanation of the olfactory pyramid, the recognition of 3 blended compositions that enter into the Flower of the Year eau de toilette. During the workshop, you will create and customize, following the advices of our teacher, your own Eau de Toilette (12 ml in a spray).
CHILDREN: Activity suitable for children from age 8 upwards and under sole responsability of a paying adult.

This was an interesting experience and our tour guide was great. We booked at the 5pm time slot and the experience was listed to last 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, we were rushed through the entire experience and I am guessing parts of the museum because the store was closing at 6pm. We completed the perfume making and were out of the museum in 45 minutes. Once we arrived in the shop we were quickly allowed to buy perfume and were told it was time to leave. Our poor tour guide was being rushed by the people working in the shop. If we have more time we would have bought more. I have been to the Fragonard museum in Eze and wanted my girls to have just as wonderful experience in Paris but it was not the same and was very rushed. We missed a lot of the museum.

I really enjoyed the mini perfume workshop offered by the Musée du Parfum FRAGONARD. I travelled solo to Paris and was looking for a unique perfume experience, and the opportunity to blend my own vial of perfume (this year's feature scent is Lilacs) was one I could not pass up. This activity would be good for solo travellers as well as small groups. You get to take home the vial of perfume that you blend under the supervision of your guide, and you receive a guided tour of the museum before experiencing samples of classic Fragonard scents in their flagship store. It was an amazing experience. Tour guide was exceptionally brilliant in transferring the Fragonard history. The workshop was very interesting, knowledge gained about the 3 notes of perfume and ultimately producing my own perfume. I really enjoyed the workshop and was pleased with the structure. I liked that we were given a seasonal scent to start with so we weren’t just blending perfume with no direction. Our guide also gave a great brief tour through the museum. I would highly recommend, even for folks that don’t think of themselves as “perfume people.”

This was a very enjoyable experience, and our guide, Rachel, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. My daughter and I both learned quite a bit and had a fun time making our perfume samples. I would definitely recommend the workshop, but not for small children; teens and up would be far better suited to the chemistry and the history.

I loved pausing and enjoying this 30 min workshop in between our busy sightseeing day! We got to learn the basics of how perfume scents are layered to create one overall scent. Then practiced making our own to take with us in a little keepsake bottle. The museum is also so opulent and gorgeous! Tres chic!

I didn’t mind the sales pitch at the end (expected it, really) but the “making”’of the perfume was so rushed. No seating, very little interaction. It was not fun but rather something to just quickly do. Very disappointed. Picked it because my teens love perfume, but very disappointed with the interaction.

This perfume workshop class is fun and informative. I learned a lot and enjoyed making my own scent. However, there are only 3 scents to choose from since they only let you make perfume that is inspired by their flower perfume of the year. This experience is also a bit rushed since the actual perfume making part doesn't last more than 10 minutes. It is not extremely expensive at 29 euros per person but it's not cheap either. It's a fun experience if you're looking for something short and informative but don't expect to walk away having created something extremely unique. My rating is 3.5 stars.

I wouldn’t like to stay too much indoors in a beautiful city so I love that it was a short session and later you can smell lots of their already made perfumes which are delightful. Definitely recommend and I regret not buying more perfumes.

I signed up for this workshop because my 12 year old is a reluctant traveler and I wanted to find an activity she would really enjoy. She said this was the highlight of her trip, and she hopes to come back to Paris and do this workshop again someday. The workshop portion was about 30 minutes - as someone who doesn't know anything about perfume I found it very informative, and our tour guide Yoko was very friendly. After the workshop there was a short tour that we found very interesting, talking through the history of perfume use and how it is made. Everything about the tour was delightful, and a great value for the workshop fee.

My daughters and I had a great time— perfect outing for us with a nice souvenir perfume from our trip to Paris. I expected to be able to choose our own scents when mixing. Instead we made the Lilas (lilac) formula from Fragonard, which was still fun but just not exactly what I had in mind. Luckily we all loved the scent but would have been nice to have a little more choice/variety as now we all have the same perfume. The museum tour was interesting and fun, and our guide Yoshi was wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

It was okay, but I wasn’t expecting to stand around metal drum for the class. There were five in my group and we were all crammed at the same barrel. We were only given three ingredients and everyone makes the same perfume. At least it was quick.

My husband and 2 teenage kids (son and daughter) took the Fragonard perfume workshop in March of 2024. We all really enjoyed the workshop and learned so much about how perfume is made and the history of perfume. The woman who hosted our workshop was knowledgeable and made the experience fun. Both the teens say it was one of the highlights of our stay in Paris. We especially loved being able to mix our own scent to take home.
Booking the experience was easy on the Fragonard website and we were fortunate to get exactly the timing that worked for our schedule. We have already recommended this workshop to friends and family!

Intersting Workshop, in which you get a brief overview how parfum works and is created. You get to make your own little parfum. It's a bit sad, that all attendees get the same ingediens, so there is not really much choice (male/female fragrances). But overall it was a fun and interesting experience.

On a whim, decided to visit Fragonard Museum after seeing their retail shops around Paris. While looking online, found the Parfum workshop so booked for 3 of us. The class, tour and shopping take longer than 35 minutes, but the experience is exquisite! The beautiful surroundings enhance the history and displays. Miriam was delightful. We learned so much about what goes into fragrance composition. Everyone will use the same essences to craft their version of this year’s featured scent. I wholeheartedly recommend doing this!

I loved this class, it was perfection. Our teacher was so warm and welcoming. I arrived late and expected to not be let in but they kindly let me enter and I immediately felt at home in the class. My friend and I highly enjoyed our experience at the Fragonard Musee de Perfum! The workshop was about 30 minutes and both fun and informative. Our guide, Miriam, spoke several languages to make sure everyone in the group was included - and her English was excellent! The tour was short but interesting, and I loved sampling the scents afterward. It was fun to see what different people in the group were attracted to. I highly recommend this experience in Paris, it’s a great value for the price!

I loved it! I booked the workshop online before my arrival in Paris and found it quite easy to do. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My 19 year old daughter and I enjoyed the perfume workshop very much—we learned a little bit about how fragrances are crafted with different notes and enjoyed adjusting them to create our own ideal versions of the current annual fragrance. Our host Yoko was warm, friendly and informative and provided an excellent guided tour of the museum after our workshop was complete. The workshop was very easy to book online ahead of our trip. I felt it was a very good value and a unique way to spend time in one of the most fashionable areas in Paris—we were able to enjoy convenient sightseeing and window shopping before and after our scheduled workshop. I still look forward to visiting the factory tour in Grasse some day, but this was a very entertaining window into Fragonard’s history and processes! I would absolutely recommend it.

This was a very enjoyable experience. I would like to be able to do two of the small bottles, so we could mix 2 different ways for the same price. Most of the people on our tour bought something from the store. I think our host was so service minded. I wish I could remember her name. She was so respectful and asked many times if we had questions. Seeing the tour after we mixed our eau de toilette, we got to know more about how a "nose" does their work and I think appreciated it more. Very interesting on the sourcing too of the oils. I'm not much of a perfume person, I did this more for my daughter. However, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. My daughter loved the experience of course and we both bought a bottle from the store. :) Highly recommend.

We were misinformed about the experience as we were doing both Museums, one after the other. Leah, our tour guide told us both tours were the same so two of our party did not bother with the bigger, newer Museum. It was a much better tour and did not cost! I felt the atelier tour was not worth it and rushed. I would rather have bought a small Parfum for 36€ than make an attempt to make an au de toilette which was not that good.
The tour of the new Museum with Anna was truly exceptional and we learnt a lot from her. She took extra time with us to answer all our questions and we all bought many perfumes afterwards.

It was an interesting workshop but it was very rushed, you were given the ‘ingredients’ and how you mixed them was you choice but you don’t get to pick your ‘scent’, it’s what ever they give you. You were quickly rushed through a guided tour of the museum so you need to go back if you want to actually look at the displays. In the end you finish in the shop where you can smell the different perfumes and purchase. It felt like the whole point of the workshop was so you would purchase at the end (which I get) but it might have been more rewarding if you had time to sit and enjoy the workshop and museum. Overall it was a great experience but I don’t think I would do it again.

It was such a fun and lovely experience though I wish the eau de toilette was more customisable for exemple instead of choosing between 3 scent family we could choose between 6-9 scent family(but still having a number of scent to put in the fragrance).
What I’m trying to say is I wish there were more variety of scent to truly customise the perfume.

But the bottle for the perfume I made is broken.
The spray top was stuck in the cap. I finally got it out
and it will not spray. So a bit disappointed I can't really

That was a lot of sniffing and smell to Handel in such a short time.

This was a great experience for our 14-year-old daughter. She learned a little about culture and chemistry during the class, and the museum was beautifully designed around a small, but unique collection. What a fun and informative activity! When I think of Paris, I think of style and of course, fragrance. I enjoyed creating a fragrance and learning about the history of perfumes. This museum is in a beautiful building and you end up in a lovely shop. The staff was friendly and helpful. The perfume bottle made was pretty small, that part I did not like and the fact that we only had 3 options to mix. However, the perfume was delicious! And customer service was outstanding ! I think you can’t go wrong with the quality of the products sold here and having friendly, bilingual and happy sales associate and staff really do make a difference in the experience! I love the classes and I love the perfume that I made. I was planning to learn more about perfumes or stufy to be a perfumer and then she said during sa musee tour that it needs 5 years or schooling and no alcohol,smoking,coffee for 5 years and that ended my dream lol. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our perfume workshop! Our guide was wonderful; she talked us through the perfume-making process so that we could confidently create our own, personalized eau-de-toilette. Plus she gave a fascinating tour of the history of perfume as we walked through the beautiful museum. It was all incredibly fascinating, and it was among the highlights of our trip to Paris. I booked the perfume making experience direct and the email communications were easy and clear. Confirmation was very quick and I was able to choose the time that suited our visit. The reception on arrival was very polite and the area was clean and beautiful. It might be an idea to have a couple of seats/bench for those who cannot stand for very long. The tour facilitator spoke very good English and explained what we would be doing very well and she allowed the session to be very interactive. Making a version of 'Narcisse' was very enjoyable. The tour of the museum was good as it explained the history and making of perfume process. We then sampled other scents which was a lovely olfactory experience. Being led to the shop is all about selling Fragonard products and there are some good products. I enjoyed the time.

This class was definitely 30 euros spent in the worst way possible. It was short, totally not on point, and the value was close to 0. We were supposed to mix 3 already pre-mixed perfumes - how is that a "workshop"? The most interesting and valuable things are in the museum, which you can visit for free.
It's best to save 30 euros in your pocket and treat yourself to a nice meal in a restaurant.

Making the perfume was quite fun. It was educational to learn about the three different notes used in perfume, citrus, floral and base notes. I mistakenly had booked a workshop in Grasse, but the representative at the desk in Paris was able to switch my reservation to a workshop in Paris. My husband and I recently went to the Mini Perfume Workshop in English. It was a great tour, but we didn't realize we would be signing up to experiment with mostly premade perfumes. It was great because we got to learn about the keynotes, what makes a perfume a perfume, and create our own version of Fragonard's latest sent. We had wished we had a bit more creative freedom to create something unique to us rather than being restricted to Fragonard's latest sent for 2023; However, upon reflection, we were able to walk away with a great perfume that each of us loves and smells FANTASTIC! We were chatting with a friend after the workshop who said she did a full version, where they had the creative freedom, and she walked away with something she hated. Highly recommend if you want something fun and different in Paris!

It was a really nice little workshop and I liked how enthusiastic the organizer was. You could tell, that she loves her job and knows a lot about perfume.
At the end I bought two perfumes and my friend one :-)

Really Lovely guide who was informative and courteous. Short workshop but that was sufficient to keep our interest for my sons
And me.
The guided tour around the museum was good but it got crowded at parts so it was hard to hear the guide.
It would be been nice to have somewhere to sit at the beginning when waiting to start. we were standing around at the corner of the reception room and you do end up standing for the whole activity and tour.
Toilets are available inside.

This is a fantastic addition to any Paris itinerary. I signed up my 2 daughters to do the class with their grandmother and all 3 of them had the best time. They learned, got to be creative and took home their own perfume!

The overall experience was nice, however there was very little customization that could be done to the perfume. Everyone had the same 3 bottles with the head, body and base of the perfume and all you had to do was add how much you wanted of each in the 15ml bottle that was given to you. We only had about 10 min to make it and the rest was the free museum tour.

I liked it a lot. I work with essential oils and this class completed my knowledge. Love learning the history of Fragonard and how they distal the scents. The end was a bit of a commercial, but had a great deal. So happy we made time to do this!

C'était très intéressant et plutôt amusant. En revanche, ce qui a été vraiment dommage, c'est que la guide parlait très vite et nous a laissé peu de temps pour regarder chaque pièce. Si elle avait gardé le même contenu tout en ralentissant, la visite aurait gagné en clarté et en qualité.

I participated to this workshop with my cousins, it wss great fun. We all got to learn so much and bring something home with us that we made ourselves. The woman that took care of us was so kind and laid back. I loved being able to smell all the perfumes and add a sort of personal touch to our perfume. I wouldn’t know if it’s possible to be able to choose our own scent but if it is possible it could be a cool idea. Either way we all had lots of fun. Thank you!

highly recommended weekend activity, best to go in a group of three. we spent 30 min on mixing our own perfume , playing with ratios of premixed tête, coeur and fond notes, got to keep the results, then had a tour through the little perfume museum and ended up testing 5 different perfumes of their brand. no pressure to buy anything. fully in English.

We loved this experience. I did this with a friend of mine and our four daughters aging between nine and 14. Everyone loved making their own scent to try to match the Fragonard scent. The tour was informative but also short and sweet, didn’t drag out too much and make the kids lose interest. At the end you sample several Fragonard perfumes and they offer them for purchase. It was a lovely way to spend the morning outside of your typical Parisian Tourist attractions, very girly.

Everyone at Fragonard was incredibly kind and helpful; I accidentally booked for the wrong day, and they were able to help me rebook with no problem. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! The museum, while small, is very interesting and nicely designed. The workshop was a lot of fun, and it was overall a wonderful time!

This workshop was nice. Our guide was very sweet and kind. She was knowledgeable about perfumes and how it was made. The activity was not what I thought it would be. They give you three pre-made scents that are represented in a scent that they sell and you use that to mix and recreate your own small au de toilet. So not a lot of choices in making a au de toilet. Be careful the bottle is very fragile. I fell right outside the store and my creation broke all over so that was very disappointing. It's fun, not hard to book during a busy tourist season, but maybe a little pricey for what it is.

My daughter and I took the mini workshop together. The location and instructions getting to the correct place was a little confusing. We went to 3 different Fragonards on the same block.
The guide was very knowledgeable but it was a little tough at times to hear her and understand her. as her voice was very quiet.
The workshop was short and sweet which is what we were looking for. I didn’t have the attention span to do longer than 30 minutes. Really glad we chose the shorter one since the tour after through the Musée and the sales pitch at the end was much longer than the workshop itself.
While I liked that Fragonard has a longer history than its competing perfume workshops, it felt a little too salesy at the end. We still bought more than we had planned on so I suppose the sales pitch worked anyway. ;)

Nous avons eu affaire à une guide très sympathique et très intéressante, beaucoup de connaissances. Nous avons commencé par la création de notre parfum, c’était très chouette de pouvoir mixer les divers senteurs et d’apprendre sur la création ! Par contre, un groupe de 5 filles n’ont fait que rire aux éclats et parlé entre elles pendant toute le workshop, ça n’allait pas. La visite guidée du musée était très intéressante mais le groupe bcp trop gros, des personnes extérieures au groupe d’origine sont venues se rajouter à notre groupe au fur et à mesure et sans aucun complexe. Il y avait vraiment bcp trop de monde qui suivait la visite guidée, ce n’était pas agréable.

While most people attended this workshop with friends or family, I went alone. I was a tourist from Australia visiting Paris, and I attended this workshop on the 4th of July 2023. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, the woman who guided the tour and workshop was very informative and knowledgeable about the history/crafting of perfume and the history of Fragonard. She was also very kind and made sure I did not feel left out as I was alone (others were with their families) while making the perfume. It is a great experience, good value, worth the money, interesting, and certainly not boring. I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone interested in perfume and are staying in Paris, even for a short time, as it is only 45 minutes.

Our guide was fun and friendly and presented her information well. It was difficult to understand her - especially when a large group joined the tour and I wasn't able to hear or see well. Our activity was nice because there were only 10 participants and you could interact easily with the guide. I expected to be able to make a perfume to my liking but only three scents were provided from their current fragrance, so each person in my group essentially made the same scent. The bottle is cute and it was fun but not what i expected. It was fun but i wouldn't do it again. We did have to reschedule and they were very accommodating so that was good. And of course, everybody was friendly and professional.

This was a really fun experience! Took my 16 year old daughter and we had a great time! Was not too long and well worth it - little history on perfume and making our own scent was a memory we won't forget. Plus, you get to take it home so a built-in souvenir. We, of course, picked up a few smaller bottles for gifts to take home. Our group also had tons of dads, spouses and boyfriends so this is not just a girls' experience. Highly recommend!

We loved this experience. They explained how perfume is made, the history behind it and all of the different types. We made our own perfume, which ended up smelling wonderful! The only thing I wish was slightly different was just a little more time to create the perfume. I was sure mine was going to smell like the trash! But thankfully it didn’t! Otherwise a really fun and unique experience to have in Paris.

Class was VERY rushed. 30 mins for her to go over everything and create your own perfume from only 3 notes. 15 minutes in the museum. You basically try to recreate a fragrance from the Fragonard lineup that they have chosen. I thought I would be creating my own fragrance of my choosing. Nope. You stand for the entire class. So if your hoping for a break from walking all day, think again. Little 1 on 1 attention to help you mix your fragrance because of the amount of people in the class and 30 minute rush. My fragrance smelled awful. Nothing like what I was supposed to be recreating. Very disappointed.

J'ai adoré l'atelier et la visite. Au départ, la dame à la caisse nous a dit que la visite était complète, mais ensuite, après avoir vérifié, nous avons vu qu'il restait des places disponibles en ligne et nous avons réussi à acheter des billets. On ne nous a pas non plus dit que la visite aurait lieu dans le bâtiment voisin de la boutique. Nous attendions dans le magasin jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit sur le point de commencer, et ce n'est qu'après avoir demandé à l'employé du magasin que nous avons été dirigés vers l'entrée du musée. À part cela, tout s'est déroulé sans problème. Le guide touristique était brillant : très dynamique, gentil et un bon conteur.

What an incredible way to spend an hour in Paris!
Our guide was so passionate and knowledgeable about perfume- everything from its history to the correct way to apply. The workshop was fun but the real delight was the curiosities in the museum and the stories behind them… she knew them all!
Wonderful shop at the end that was fantastic for gifts for those back home.
Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this tour!! My daughter, granddaughter and I participated in learning about the history, science and creation of French perfume as told by our Fragonard tour guide. Each participant created their own unique perfume to take as a remembrance of the visit. In conclusion, guests were given discounts to purchase from the wide variety of perfume sets offered at the display store.

It was a lot of fun to create your own perfume and I wear mine every day. I also adore the free sample that gets sent every month when you sign up for it. I did not like how long the tour of the museum itself was, it took a long time to get through one room and the tour seemed like it was directed towards children. The establishment itself was beyond beautiful and the perfumes smell wonderful.

We were ushered in straight through the museum. We never stopped. We were sent down stairs to what appeared to be some scent demonstration with scent sticks that many had 6-8 sticks in their hands. No blending of a 12ml bottle to take home. We never received any of that. We were given a sales pitch to purchase a box of 5 scents and 20% off. No museum tour, no workshop of any kind and no bottle of perfume to be had per our tickets I purchased for my sister, myself and my 86 year old mother. I want a refund. I didn't get any of what I paid for.

I live in Paris and had been interested in doing this though I know mostly tourists hear about it (in fact, I was only with tourists). The perfume making part was the best although short. Completely worth it and so fun to learn and play around. It was great to have added info during the museum tour as well as part of it so definitely worth the value. I think however the flow could be better managed in the museum when there is a workshop planned because it was hard to get photos or to be in a space where we could hear the information with so many people surrounding us.

This was a fun activity! We learned a lot about perfume in a short period of time, and we made our own eau de toilette! There were even men in our workshop, and all enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this workshop - its short duration fits easily into the tourist schedule, and the location is very close to many other sights and stores.

I really enjoyed creating our own perfume followed by a tour of the museum and history of perfume. The staff are very kind, and our tour guide was very sweet. Highly recommend the tour, which ends at the shop were you can buy perfumes. Wish I could’ve created a bigger bottle of perfume though.

Creating the perfume was fun and easy. Learned about the process and the multitude of fragrances. Glad they keep the choices simple so one can see how different smells can come from the ratio of the various ingredients as much as the fragrances themselves. Guide was energetic and informative. The tour guide/ perfume guide was very informative and engaging in a beautiful house next to the Opera. I loved that we not only made our own scent but also got a brief history of perfume to accompany the collection of artefacts. The tour finished with an introduction to Fargonard's scents. We walked away with our own perfume, a signature Fargonard perfume (at a great price), feeling informed, pampered and blissful.

We signed up for this experience on the recommendation of a friend and could not have been more pleased with it! Paris is a favorite destination of ours, but we have never participated in an experience quite like this. The museum tour and apprentice experience was so informative and fun. The staff members were all so warm and service-oriented. We came away with such great memories--not to mention wonderful perfumes--from this workshop and highly recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the mini perfume workshop. I chose this one because I was more interested in the museum tour, but also wanted to get a taste of what goes into creating a scent. Fragonard did not disappoint, and I left with my very own version of a classic Fragonard scent. I'm wearing it as I write this and the fragrance takes me right back to the streets of Paris. I would recommend this tour to anyone even remotely interested in culture and/or chemistry.

The workshop was more of a sales pitch for Fragonard fragrances instead of teaching about perfumery. If fragrances are your hobby, you will not learn anything here. There were no ingredients available, just premixed base, heart and head to put together for one boring citrusy-narcissus fragrance. After the workshop we were rushed along the museum as fast as possible, so we can get to the sales pitch at the Fragonard shop. The sales pitch took longer than the workshop part, to make us buy fragrance bottles from Fragonard. Definietely NOT worth the price. I do not recommend this workshop, especially if you already know a lot about fragrances.

Such a lovely workshop hosted by a brilliant perfume specialist. We did this as a family to celebrate my cousin's engagement and make a perfume for her wedding and it was such a unique and special way to spend the afternoon. We've all come away with a new appreciation for the process and a unique souvenir of our trip - definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something memorable to do in Paris.

so i coined the term "olfactomaniac" for myself because perfumes are my hobby and passion. I have an extensive collection and thought that the perfume-making part of this workshop will be a lot more intricate, however, we were only given 3 ingredients: a citrusy top, floral mid, and amber base to use to "make" our own perfume. since i dont like florals, i could only use the top and base. so my perfume is a 2 ingredient perfume.

The three scents that the instructor gave us to work with were very limiting. I thought we could blend our own fragrance using specific flower fragrances. It was nice, but way too basic. I would pay 10-20 euros more to have a wider choice of fragrances.

I think the activity was interesting because we learned a few things, the guide was also very good making the session interactive. But I also believe that it was rather short. And the restriction on the perfume we would make wasn’t explicit in the description. I thought we would have mon choices. In my case for example I don’t like floral scents so I will not wear the perfume made.
I also think it might be a bit expensive.
No difficulty during the booking process or the activity itself but make sure to book really in advance.
I don’t know if I will recommend the perfume workshop but I will definitely recommend the museum !

My husband. adult son (who is a doctor) and I had a wonderful time at this workshop! Our instructor was Yoko who did a fabulous job of teaching us about the 3 notes of essential oils and the choice we have in deciding how much of each we have in designing our perfumes for either men or women. e each walked away with a mini sample of the scent of our own design.She then gave us a thoroughly fun yet educational tour of the museum. Impressed by this perfume with purchased a five pack and additional bottles of various scents. My only suggestion is that you provide the tax forms needed for tourist to receive the the taxes back at the airport. We did not get to enjoy the discount because we weren't given the form and it wasn't provided upon request. Most of the stores we visited in the area around the Opera House did provide these forms at checkout! I really loved the quality and beauty of your products and plan to visit your factory in Grasse next time we are in France.

Beautiful venue in a great part of Paris. Staff and guide were all very friendly and easy to understand. The length of time was just right - I found the information and historical artifacts very interesting. The guide was helpful offering a variety of their scents to try. There was no pressure to purchase - but the parfum's were lovely and prices reasonable. I couldn't resist also buying some beautiful soaps. Now that I've unwrapped one for my bathroom sink - the fragrance permeates the space and reminds me of a beautiful morning in Paris!

This atelier was incredibly rushed. I didn't even have time to fully fill my perfume, which is what I paid for. perfume making takes time to get right especially as a beginner, and with the rushed time frame I could have easily left the atelier with something I didn't even like the scent of. The visit after the workshop was also rushed and I barely had time to look at each of the rooms before I was ushered into the next one. The guide, while nice, was woefully unprepared and unknowledgeable about the subject matter and couldn't even answer questions. the final section in the boutique downstairs was so loud I couldn't hear the descriptions of any of the signature Fragonard perfumes.

We were in Paris for our last stop during our European honeymoon. My husband knew I have an affinity for perfumes and its history. He surprised me with the famous Fragonard Museum tour and a workshop to make my very own cologne. I had a memorable time.
Sasha was knowledgeable, humorous, and kind. I enjoyed the workshop very much! The museum is beautiful and managed well by staff members who were friendly and accommodating for last minute changes. The store is spacious and brightly lit. I was particularly impressed with the soft sell at the end of the tour. It was strategically presented in a way that didn’t pressure the consumers and the set packages were priced appropriately.
I can’t wait to go back to experience the other hour-long workshop. However, that would mean I need to start my French lessons now since it is only offered in the French language.

I enjoyed the class and museum tour but I think one should go through the tour first. It gives perspective and information that is relevant to the activity. The workshop went fast and I didn’t quite understand all the steps thoroughly. It would have been helpful to have a pamphlet to discuss the steps in detail to better understand how the percentage of each of the three ingredients affect the final scent.

My husband and I are traveling with our sons ages 19 and 23. I’ll admit it: I booked this experience primarily for myself. What a happy coincidence that the boys loved it! The workshop is quite fun, I have learnt a lot about perfumes in general, but the title and description on the website is quite misleading. We did create a perfume which was a copy of one of their fragrances for the year so we were quite limited on the artistic part. I was disappointed in the fact that the first words on the website and much of the description link more with the “creation of your own personal perfume” rather than the recreation of one of their perfumes with a certain degree of freedom. Also the particular perfume was too floral for me so I had to skip one of the only 3 oils we could use. The people I met at the workshop were quite friendly, fun and we actually went out after it.

The entire experience was just ok. The portion where we are to make our own fragrance was rushed and we were only given 3 different base scents to mix and match together in order to come up with our own scent, however, in my opinion it just ended up smelling similar to what the Perfumery already sells. It was more flowered scented(not my favorite type of perfume scent). It was very rushed as well as the "tour". It was short and quickly done so that they could take us to the front to sell us some of their own perfume that they sell.

The workshop was dissapointing. We were hoping to creatr our own perfume, like advertised. However we were just recreating Fragonards latest perfume. Which is a feminine sent, so men from the workshop didn’t have a usable perfume.

Our guide was so sweet and patient with our group. We had three scent combinations to mix our custom mini perfume from which was less than I had hoped. Since you could only control the small amount of each, most of our final products smelled about the same. However, it was still a nice experience to learn about how the scent profiles are made and leave with a personal spray. We also toured the museum and our guide took us into the salon to sample more fragrances and make a purchase. She became our personal shopping advisor and we made several purchases because she was so patient and helpful. Honestly, some of the other employees didn't seem as helpful to tourists but we got lucky with our guide.

You can view the parfum museum on your own for free, but if you take the workshop, you get the tour with a guide and it's very informative and interesting. The items in the museum are labeled, but I got more out of it with the guide than when I walked through by myself bc I was able to ask questions. The fun part, of course, was getting to make my own eau de parfum to take home! FYI: whatever the flower of the year is for Fragonard, that will be one of the scents you make your parfum with. 2022 is the wildflower and so we had rose as the middle note, which is not my favorite, so I used the citrus (top) and musk (bottom) scents to create my own scent, which I adore! After the parfum workshop and tour, our guide took us to the Fragonard store to smell and sample Fragonard parfums. Enjoyable event!

I'm still wearing my custom perfume (although I'm running out quickly). The discounts in the shop were nice. I was able to buy quite a few presents to take back to my friends in the UK and US. All in all, a great experience if you are interested in perfume!

The tour was very informative and interactive. However, I thought there would be more choice of scents to choose from and we were very limited so everyone’s perfume is similar. The actual perfume making experience was also very short. I thought I was paying for a longer session with more choice of scents and felt disappointed. However, the booking process was easy and session was run well.

Visiting Fragonard a fun, interesting way to spend an hour or so while in the Opera area. Great detail abt the history of a 3rd generation family enterprise & their perfume making. Of course, easy to purchase a wonderful souvenir of scent afterwards. Glad I booked this visit.

Such a fantastic experience! Great value for money, with your own little bottle of perfume to take home and a short tour taking you through the interesting history and process of perfume making. Also included great discounts on more perfumes at the end of the tour. My only feedback would be to make it clear that customers would be making a variation of the signature perfume, not choosing their own scent for the workshop. But overall, still highly recommended!

Love the quite room where we felt treat like kings / queens. STRONG SUGGESTION: despite your clients seems that they are most woman, you should consider (as well) something for both man/woman. Right now, it is very into flowers approach with the concept of 'it could be interesting' for your wife if you want to give her a present. We all know that there are other fragrances that can stimulate man interest as well.... SMILE.. It is pity, this will take part of the potential client out.I count on you to balance the business approach.

In my opinion, this is a truly unique experience in Paris because the Mini Perfume Workshop/Tour involves all senses: touch, visual, auditory, and of course, smell. I enjoyed the mini workshop the most, and I got to hear what perfume is made out of and how to make one of a kind, just for me. Although I still did not understand it because I am not a perfumer, the workshop helped me develop a newfound appreciation for perfume making.

The booking experience was easy, no problems at all. The speaker was excellent. Even the men in our group enjoyed the tour. I do wish there were more options when it came to making our own perfume. I don't like floral scents and especially Rose, so I didn't enjoy that part of the experience. I really wanted a keepsake scent from Paris but that was just not my cup of tea. Other than that, it was great.

The guide preferred to communicate in Spanish with the one guest. Sharing more context and explanation since she was more fluent in Spanish than in English. As someone bilingual In Spanish and English. I was disappointed. She rushed through the whole experience like she was concerned with time. I could have fallen in love with the brand or bought more in the gift shop if I understood more about the brand. The rushing made it seem like they were about to close so I needed to rush also. Not an experience I would recommend.

My husband, two teen daughters and I really enjoyed this workshop. We learned so much about fragrances - how to smell the different layers and notes to each scent, how to properly store fragrances, the history of perfume, and so much more. Our tour guide Sasha was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about fragrance and funny! Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to know more about the world of perfume.

Je me vois bien refaire cet atelier un deuxième fois et je recommande de le faire à n'importe quel age. TOP!

I wish I would of know that exact perfume we were making. I took my my husband and boys thinking we would all make different perfume and/or cologne. We all have the same bottles to make a version of that. In the end they all smell similar. There were more men in the class then females. So I wasn’t the only thinking this.

Really enjoyed this work-shop and tour! At first we thought we would have lots of scents to choose from, but we were provided with a top note, bottom note and heart note. The mixing of the perfume turned out to be choosing the proportions you wished. After that minor setback in the start where I had expected this would be the best part of the workshop/tour, it actually just got better and better. Our guide was fantastic, lots of small fun trivia included in the historic tour and then we finished in their shop where the guide showed us some of their new and old favorite perfumes. Also the tips on how to apply and store perfume were very useful! Fun, fact-filled and fantastic! I wonder if I will ever go back to Eau de parfum after this!? ;)

I went on this tour (and workshop) with my 12 year old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide, SueEllen, was very friendly and informative. We learned a lot about perfume making, and the collection from the Fragonard family was impressive. And it was fun to make our own perfume! Lastly, it was great to then test the perfumes in the store, after what we'd learned (and they were very reasonably priced!) I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in perfume.

My 10 year old daughter and I loved learning about and creating our own perfume. It was based on this year's new perfume release and we were each able to customize our own so we walked away with a personalized product we love and a memory for life. Our guide, Sofia, was excellent, patient, funny, and kind. She engaged on a personal level and seemed to really enjoy her job which always enhances your experience. Truly an unforgettable experience. We would absolutely go again and recommend it for all. We love Fragonard!

This is a brilliant way to experience the perfume making process and learn more about Maison Fragonard. Our guide was knowledgeable, interesting and spoke perfect English so nothing was lost in translation. The museum itself was compact but cool, clean and light after some of our other Paris experiences. I loved doing this with my teenager daughter and would recommend it to anyone what wants to pass a quiet, enjoyable afternoon in one of the nicest smelling places in the city! We will definitely be returning next time we come to Paris.

This was a fun late morning activity for my daughter and me. The lady conducting the workshop was pleasant and knowledgeable, and my daughter and I had fun not only making our own perfumes, but also learning about about Fragonard and the art of perfume making. Given that this workshop was not very expensive at all, it was really an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday morning. Also, shopping at the end was fun as we got to smell tons of perfumes and soaps, which is something my daughter and I really have fun with. We left with lots of Fragonard goodies outside of just the perfume that we made!

While the experience was nice it was misleading. We were under the impression we would be creating a fragrance of our choice, but we’re given one citrus and one floral essence which we could mix in proportion as per our choice. So not really much creativity there. For €29 it was expensive no I would not recommend this to my friends or family.

Je ne recommanderai pas cette activité, tout le monde a été déçu. Faire un atelier avec une seule proposition imposée de note de tête, cœur et fond ne revient pas à créer son "own eau de toilette". Tout le monde repart avec une mini fiole qui sent la même chose, ça ne vaut pas le prix de l'atelier. Proposer 3 options de chaque ou au moins dans la note de cœur aurait été le minimum pour ressortir à minima avec un parfum qui nous ressemble.

Loved our guide. I wish we could have had more choice and freedom to create our own scent instead of only three scent choices. Love the museum. I would recommend. I would do it again.

Value for money and the staff are fantastic.
Well worth an hour of your time, but be warned, you are not allowed to make the scent of your choice.
You get to make a variation of rose perfume.
Its the same scent however you add the base and top notes, good fun but its not of your choice!
This is the only reason they lose a star.

1. Our guide was very attentive, friendly, welcoming. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
2. I had difficulty booking because there was only 1 availability and I had a friend visiting for such a short period of time
When I rang, the lady on the phone was very helpful and booked us in as an exception - very grateful!!!!!
3. The visit was very enjoyable and we learned a lot. Great value for money!

Overall everyone at Fragonard was very nice and extremely helpful. They added me to the workshop last-minute which was very much appreciated. Sasha, the tour and experience leader, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The museum tour and mini-fragrance workshop were both great and I highly recommend to anyone interested in fragrance to check them out. I went home with three fragrances (one I created myself in the workshop) and am very happy with all of them!

I did this with 3 other people and we all loved it. I’m actually wearing my little rose perfume that I concocted right now. We learned so much, Julia our guide was the sweetest person on earth and we learned so much. I didn’t even know how interesting perfumery could be but it was so much fun! I’ve told everyone about it. Booking was easy, the process was streamlined. Do it.

From start to finish the workshop was perfect. The whole family had so much fun learning about smell, scents, the layers of perfumes, the ingredients and the history involved. Would have bought everything if it was possible!

We would appreciate if there were chairs to sit on. After a lot of walking in Paris we expected this to be a seated arrangement. We also would have appreciated somewhere to hang jackets and bags. Now We had to lay them on the floor.
The instructions during the workshop was not so clear. We missunderstod, and therefore started with the wrong items.
At the end We Stoped in the shop but by then we left as we were so tried of standing. It you hope to sell products, arrange it in a way that makes it more ennjoyable for visiters.

I really liked the whole workshop and the tour at the museum, our guide was really friendly and fun, we had a great time reviewing parfums, making our own eau de toilette and I would visit again, next time I am in paris with friends.
